Mama Kat’s Writer’s Workshop – Inspired

I haven’t responded to one of these workshops in a while because I have been busy with many other things in my life, but I decided that I would start taking the time if I could also link it with other things I am doing in my life.

Avon has inspired me to start doing things that help other people.  Avon and mark. both have foundations that help specific causes that are important to women.  The cause I am going to focus on today is domestic violence and dating abuse.

One in three women worldwide will be the victim of domestic violence in her lifetime.  If it isn’t you, it could be someone you know.  It could be your mother, your sister, your daughter, your granddaughter, your friend, your neighbor, or your colleague.  Doing everything you can to help them is important.  If we stand together, we can stand strong.

  1. This post makes me so happy… and inspired, too! I just posted on domestic violence awareness, too. We are having a remembrance walk for my daughter who was murdered by her husband a little over two years ago. DV is a horrible sickness that effects everyone! Good people. Good families. If you go to my blog you can read about it and it will also link you to Shaniel’s Story facebook page, as well as to the walk details. Thanks for doing what you are doing, too! And… I must say I love Avon, too! My mother sold it for a number of years and I was a dedicated customer after I became an adult. My blog comes via Mama Kat’s at carol-birdsofafeather.blogspot.com
