Spoiler alert! Stop reading if you do have not seen the new episode and plan to do so at some point.
Seriously, stop reading!
Okay, is it safe now?
Alright, all over the place I have been reading about how people are crying over the episode. I’ll admit that a tear or two escaped my eyes while they had the scene with Amy Pond. But that was really it. I didn’t really find the episode sad at all. I cried WAY more when Tennant regenerated.
That being said, I very much enjoyed the episode. I loved the way they tied everything together. The Timelords, the Silence, the Time War, everything. It was brilliantly done.
Peter Capaldi’s entrance was rather funny! I loved the look on his face. I think he will fill the shoes of The Doctor very well. I can’t wait to see the next episode.
The new question is: How many regenerations was The Doctor granted? Only one? Or perhaps another twelve?
