Daily Prompt: Express Yourself

My daughter has been sick lately, so she has been home from school until we are able to see a doctor.  I’m utterly exhausted physically, mentally and emotionally.  We don’t realize how invested we are in our children until one of them becomes sick and you are completely without ability to help them.

In the meantime, my blog has suffered from this exhaustion.  There’s not much I can do about it for the time being until this all gets sorted out, but it is obvious for me that my writing isn’t as good as it usually is and I’m not writing as much.

Hopefully I can get back into it more soon.
